Are you gonna sell it? I know this sounds stupid, but make sure you get the good hangers in the back. Buyers are so lazy now a days and the little 35 cent strand of metals on two hooks can make a a big deal if a buyer buys or just turns it over and sees no way to hang it and puts it back.

For instant recognition, donate to a new public company such as a bank, that way people get to see your art and wonder who you are. Make sure you have one of those plaques with you name and web page.

I haven't found anywhere to donate a gourd yet. They are either too good to sell or too crappy to sell. My mother in law tried to you one as a candle holder over Thanksgiving. Sometimes artists intentions are not well expressed I guess nor well suited for consumers yet.
I do have one that my teacher considers museum quality whatever that means. I think I'm going to enter into a local artist exhibit. I'll send you details when I get them.
