Hi folks,

I am in need of LOTS of old wavy window glass for the ongoing window restoration for the Gardner House, a late 1700s-early 1800s brick hall and parlor home owned by the University and managed by the Folk Studies department.

We are doing a hands-on restoration of the home using Folk Studies (often Historic Preservation track) graduate student hands. This is a worthwhile endeavor in that it not only helps this structure but fosters a better understanding of preservation and restoration techniques for the students, who are our next line of defense in preservation efforts.

If you know of an old building that is being demolished or that is having its windows replaced, please let me know so that I can try to convince the owner to share the glass with us. If you have a stockpile of it, please share with us for a good cause. The greenest thing you can do is re-use!

The glass should be no smaller than 10"x8", larger pieces would be great! I'll remove it from its sash or even from the house if need be.
