We cant keep a coach for nothing. Didnt Willard also leave after the sweet 16 or was that a year or two later? I guess I cant fault Horn for leaving for a
better job but still it is quite agrevating.

He was not a good hire to begin with. We should have hired a head coach with a proven winning tradition, instead of a green coach who obviously would use WKU
as on-the-job training.
Better luck this time. |

it looks like to me that with that much pay per year he could at least buy some shampoo or have the oil changed in his hair, if the lady topper coach makes any
where near that kind of cash she should get a make over for sure or at least learn what makeup is, just like all stick and ball sports, grossly over paid for
what they do.

I can't believe all the negative stuff about Darrin Horn and wishing him bad luck in the future.
I am sorry to see him go but I would have made the same decision if I had been presented with the same opportunity. I wish him well and personally think he will do well at South Carolina. |

I don't wish him any bad luck but I do wish that he would have been a little bit more loyal to the university that has given him everything he has.

I don't wish Horn ill at all. I hope he's very successful at USC. I don't blame him for leaving, either. If I was in his shoes, I'd be gone in
a flash, too.
It's not Horn's fault that WKU hired him, it's WKU's fault. It was a no-win situation It was a bad hire because if he did have success, he'd leave (like now). If he didn't have success, then we'd have what's expected from a green coach with no experience. nkfro wrote: Ain't that the truth! |

Horn has been good for Western as a student and a coach. All I have heard has been positive about him. I say thanks and ya'll come back.
I would like to know if Western even tried to compete with USC's offer like Selig said he was in a better position to do? |

What are the chances of him coming into that SC news conference today, waving a red towel, and yelling April fools!

some of you give me a hard time because i think stick and ball sports have gotten completely insane on thier pay scale, as long as you die hard ball fans keep
buying all that sports junk and paying the big ticket prices, just to show your team support, the big pay stays, and guys like mr horn laugh all the way to the
bank. i wonder if he will tell his new employer and fans how many home basketball games were sold out this season and the school he left, gave away tickets to
thier football program in happy meals, just to get a crowd, ill bet not.
