Now hopefully the Democrats will have the political will to do important things with this power, like reveal who killed Kennedy and tell us where all the
UFO's are from.

The o9nly problem I have with Franken is that his humor is so straight faced, it might be hard for his Congressional compatriots to tell when he's being
serious!

Let me explain the free market to you. When you have choices, you can choose the better product. The bad product sits on the shelf, is given to Good Will, is
recycled, or just thrown away like so many republicans have been over the last few years.

You shouldn't confuse Republican with Conservative 6265659879. The best thing that could ever happen to this country is a 60 seat Democrat controlled
Senate. It will be a painful next 18 months, but in November of 2010 we will start to see the inevitible demise of the party.
America will not tolerate the rampant liberalism that has surfaced it's head in the last 5 months. The polls show it, and the media is finally waking up to it. There are many congressional democrats in hot water in 2010 and the Democrat Senators up for re-election will be facing a money shower given by the rest of America to their opponent. |

Your post contains several predictions for the next election. The above words however could be compared to the current state of the Republican party after the last election. |

Howie has a great point. Sixty seats for either party means that the other is more or less without blame, regardless of what passes (or doesn't).
It's a delicate balancing act between power and longevity, and one typically comes at the expense of the other. |
